IN Network's vision is to glorify God and win men, women and children to Jesus Christ. Our mission is to connect Christian partners in effective evangelism, discipleship and community development.
Ernest Ganyo Damalie is one of the many children who attended the International Needs School at Amrahia, Ghana, in 1996. He came to live with his grandfather because his mother could not care for him after the death of his father. His grandfather was on a meagre salary and so to take care of Ernest and his three siblings, had to farm. Ernest at times had to miss school in order to work on the farm.
In 1996, Ernest entered the Amrahia School and obtained sponsorship that same year.Ernest’s life changed from here on. His class teacher spoke to him about Christ and showed personal interest in him. He became more serious with his class work. He received a hot meal once a day, which was at times his only meal for the day. He received medical care when the heath team visited his school.Ernest testified that his life changed. He worked very hard, became the best student in his class, and won awards. He was humble and ready to help his fellow students. He demonstrated his gratitude to the Lord by teaching at the Sunday school in his local church.
Ernest passed his Junior Secondary School Examination with distinction. His first choice school admitted him to read Science.Ernest is now reading Agriculture at the University of Ghana, Legon. He hopes to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Agribusiness and Economics.Ernest said; “I have come thus far in my life and education because I was privileged to know Jesus as my Saviour and Lord, to be loved and cared for by a sponsor and to be instructed in the way of life at the International Needs School at Amrahia. I will forever be thankful and grateful to God for arranging everything so well through people like my sponsor and the staff of International Needs”.
Ernest Ganyo represents the many young people being touched through IN Network sponsorships and prayers.IN Network-Ghana now has 2,670 children sponsored. This represents 2,670 caring and loving people praying and seeking the welfare of needy children in Ghana. Some of these children like Ernest do not know their parents because they were trafficked (possibly stolen) and were doing very difficult work like fishing, shepherding cattle or used in brothels as prostitutes. Some were sold to strangers and were rescued by IN Network.
