IN Network's vision is to glorify God and win men, women and children to Jesus Christ. Our mission is to connect Christian partners in effective evangelism, discipleship and community development.
Early this year Lydia Vocational Training Center (LVTC) in Kathmandu,
sent out two staff members to conduct a three day vocational training program
at Birgunj, a boarder
town with Northern India and a hub of trading and commercial activities.
Mrs. Usha K.C. (LVTC Teacher) and Mrs Sara Tiwari (LVTC cook) trained
the ladies in bead work, cloth flower making and candle making. The local
pastor had invited the ladies to come for further training for the women of the
church.
To start with there were 18 ladies present, including nine unbelievers,
and the numbers grew each day as they brought their friends along. There was
great excitement and an eagerness amongst the women to learn new skills which
would be useful for them in their daily lives.
Even the non believing women joined in the singing of hymns as the
women thanked the Lord together.
Present to help at the training were two graduates of the Lydia center.
Mrs. Kamala Shrestha is an active member of her church, helping out in several
areas of ministry such as, Children's ministry, Women's fellowship, leading
Youth fellowship and leading at Saturday worship services. She is also pursuing
her hand skills by sewing clothes and very grateful to the Lord as well as
Lydia Vocational Training center for equipping her.
Miss Shanti Pakhrin is very happy to use what she has learnt from Lydia
at her church. She is a Sunday school teacher and choir member. She helps in
leading Saturday services and also in Youth ministry. She is also doing bead
work in her village and also expressed her thankfulness to Lydia Vocational
Training center for equipping her in her ministry.
On the last day the ladies of the church organized a farewell program
and some of the ladies shared their testimonies about how this training and the
trainers were a blessing for all of
them.

for allowing us to be a partner in sharing HIS good news and to share our
